This was my third fashion week street style snapping and without a doubt, the most fun. This season I partnered up with the lovely Clare of rainbows and fairydust and the last day I spent with my friend Lucy, an aspiring photographer with an impeccable eye for style.

See below my favourite snaps from the 2 days I spent at Somerset House.. Really chuffed I managed to snap blogger Andy Torres from style scrapbook who was managing to pull off a bright orange beanie.. not sure if there’s many people who could do that and still look ladylike, but she did!

..I’m sorry, I haven’t been posting again but just to let you know that I am still alive and I am still intending to keep the blog going but just been having a crazily busy time of late. Unfortunately blogging, as much as I really enjoy and want to continue with it, has become a luxury pastime in the grand scheme of things. However, I WILL keep it going!!
Last week I went to the British Fashion Awards and unfortunately I didn’t get to take any photos inside the theatre as phones and cameras were banned. (killjoys!) However, I did have an amazing time and it was truly a star striking moment being in the same room as some of the most important and influential people in the fashion industry including Manolo Blahnik, Stella McCartney and Valentino (yes, VALENTINO – mahogany tan and all!). I will post a bit more about the night over the weekend but for now, I will sign off from this mini update and thank you for still reading me!

A couple of weekends ago I went to the launch party for the wonderful new outfit sharing app, Pink Mothballs.

I was so excited to be attending, as I have got to know Amanda (the founder) quite well since first meeting her at a Marie Claire business event back at the beginning of this year. Amanda’s really inspired me in my own business and she’s always been really supportive of the GladRags on Twitter so it was great to be able to show my support at the launch party. I caught up with some of my favourite bloggers Clare from Rainbows and Fairydust and Aisling from fash-ling, got involved with the old school sweets and the Pink Mothballs cocktails and had the honour of eating a slice of the most spectacular cake I’ve ever seen! Shaped into a wardrobe and featuring an ipad in the door. Yes, you heard it right – an ipad!!

Pink mothballs is an outfit sharing app where you can lend items of clothing, shoes and accessories to “friends” in your area, as well as borrowing items from them for yourself. Genius!
