Obviously I almost fell over with excitement when I found out, but now…it’s busy busy busy! First thing on the agenda is to organise the photoshoot for all my lovely vintage gems… I need a good location, a gorgeous model, a photographer…aaaaaahhhhhhhh I can feel the stress levels rising already! I think I need to get a LOT more stock too…and on that subject, I have just taken delivery of my 2 new lovely 6 FOOT rails for the stock that is currently piling up around me.. one of the piles looks like a giant faux fur molehill about to tumble on top of me. Its fair to say my dining room is looking more like a vintage fair than somewhere to eat an evening meal…

…There was a pocket sized fashionista stuck in a job she wasn’t enjoying when one day she decided to quit and embark on a new adventure and to have a go at being her own boss.
Follow my posts as I try to build my own business from scratch and survive in the world of fashion retail… my first task: to create an online boutique on asos marketplace (if my application is accepted) and successfully sell vintage fashion. I want to do this to gain some experience at running a business on a very small budget, to hopefully learn as much as possible to help me in the big wide world of running an independent business on the high street.
